Hi, I’m Verna. I’ve spent the last 30+ years concentrating on every aspect of geriatric care, including: hands-on clinical experience; setting up Residential Care Facilities; care management for major healthcare providers and government agencies and running my own business.
I decided to start this blog to bring together commentary, news and resources for seniors, their families and care-related professionals. I’ll try my best to update it every day and will have occasional entries from my husband, Leon. We live in an active adult retirement community in Northern California but have relatives on the East Coast and in England, so although many topics will relate to the USA there will be some international perspectives as well. |
